You can always use a good aircraft aluminum stripper to remove the old finish and then any of the good paints listed above. Personally, I'd hit them with some spray on truck bed liner paint. That...

Mine does that with the 95 Camaro wheels I have on it. If it really concerns you that much, get a small spacer for the back.

RE: MythBusters (Subwoofer+Car=DESTRUCTION!)

Because the whole point was to do this to a stock vehicle.

However, I wish they had fixed the speaker and sealed the sunroof to see what it'll do.

RE: Corvette Wheels

I run the 93-96 16x8? Camaro "salad shooter" split 5 stars on my Blazer. Offset couldn't be any more perfect. No rubbing or clearance issues. If anyone here does decide to use the staggered sizes...

RE: Something To Think About

Replace the pins.

To prevent them from screwing up again, make sure you keep plenty of white grease on the hinges/pin/latch area. Do this once a month or so. The white grease is available in...

RE: teh pres' mods that will go on Thursday night

Haha, thanks guys/gals.

I'm still debating...should I black out the centers, leaving a polished lip and the stock centercap or not? Kinda miss the black centers of the old steelies already.

RE: How do you take off symbols on the trunk??

RE: How do you take off symbols on the trunk??

Heat it with a hairdryer first and then use the fishing line. Follow up with 3M adhesive remover and then re-wax the area.
