I see what you mean now. When the parts get here I plan to try 1/2'' all thread, nuts and washers to push the silent block in the frame. I also hope this will work on the bushing for the spring.

It wouldn't take much for you to use the jack and tire wrench and take the tire off and look at them. Have a flash light handy. Also front pads are easy to change and don't require a lot of tools....
