Cool Hood louves

Im thinking of adding a couple hood louves/vents to my blazer
To help it run cooler. Anyone done this and it work well, increase power. And
Last best place on the hood for them?

Talking New guy asking lift/tire info

Hey i got a 4x4 2000 blazer and i want to lift it a little, 2inch body then 1 1/2 shakels and tbar crank. I want to know what size tire i can fit if i do that and have 15x8 rims with 4inch back...
