Turns out all of this was a fuel pump relay...

Turns out all of this was a fuel pump relay reaching the end of its life. Truck has ran like a champ since I replaced it.

Thanks for your input. Problem has not occurred now since couple of days before Thanksgiving. Im going to look into the coil and ignition switch. I need to learn how to do those types of tests...

As long as I've had my 95 Blazer the oil gauge has had this 'twitching' issue. Its a little difficult to describe but in general the gauge is showing the correct pressures for each stage of driving....
