Question Custom key fob actions?

So I was wondering if anyone has done this:

It's always bothered me the when I lock my truck with the key FOB it does not flash the taillights and the corner lights like it does when I unlock it ...

You could grab a spare tire carrier from a 2 door and slap it on and or you could get and awesome roof/safari rack/basket curious to see your housings and turn signals

First off, do you have the heater/AC control unit with the "AUTO" temperature option? I don't believe it came in the 97's but that could make the problem way more complicated
