The latch came off the glass part. Stuck back on...

The latch came off the glass part. Stuck back on with weather strip adhesive, (yellow snout). Want to see if someone has a better way.

Hatch problem

Have a 97 S10 Blazer that the latch on the inside of the glass has come off. Have fliped the switch next to the most rear dome light so the lights will go off. But now how to put it back on. Any...
