i think that he 4.3 had the same bolt up pattern as the small block v8s but im not 100% on that. i do know that the s10 and the full size aswell as the pickups and suburbans all used the same sauto...

i would take the load out for a test run and watch my rpm's if they go any higher tht 2500 or so then i would say that you are a little over loaded. i dont think the mustang and trailer will be over...
