I just picked up a 1994 fullsize blazer qith 139K on it and there is some bangingnoises coming from the front end when I hit a bump. I took the wheels off to do the brakes and didnt see anything...

Update.... the truck is now running. It was the fuel pump. I changed it our along with a new sendingunit anf filter. She fired right up after. Thanks to those that helped out. Now I gotta look for...

can you give me pointers ontakingthe sending unit up out of the tank. isnt there a ring that must be removed or something? I have tried a few things but it seems like i am going to break something

well I just removed the two straps and the tank will NOT drop. it is either held in there by something else or its really really jambed up in there somehow. I will keep trying.

I will have to check on that and see what I come up with. If it is not that then I am going to have to assume it is not getting fuel and check the pressure. Any idea on where the test port is on this...
