RE: No spark on cylinder #1 and #2

@ blzr: No, htat is not possible. The Districap with the conductors facing up is the "until 1995" modell, the one with the conductors to the side is the "1995 and later" modell. They are not...

RE: No spark on cylinder #1 and #2

I tested the cap with a multimeter and it's allright. But the multimeter tests only with a few volts, so the plastic material between the conductors insulates a few volts, but not 25kVolts! On one...

RE: No spark on cylinder #1 and #2

@swartlkk: You're right, it isn't the distributor. I got a new one today and changed it but there is the same mistake. But I figured out another thing today: I have a flashlight that you can connect...

RE: No spark on cylinder #1 and #2

@ lastcoupe: Hmm, I think a distributer that is worn out like mine after 80.000 miles is a defect. Or which is a better word?

There is a play of a few mm when I pull the distributor up, do you...

RE: No spark on cylinder #1 and #2

No there aren't autozones near me and in the other shops you get only euro and japanese parts. There are a few mailorder shops but a new distributer costs about 300 EUR (~440$) but a new gear "only...

No spark on cylinder #1 and #2

I have a 95 Blazer 4x4 Motorcode W. I think it's a "between" OBD I and OBD II, it has the flat Distri-Cap.

Yesterday it started to run bad. When I accelerated it sounds like little backfires (a...

RE: Spongy Brake, less Brake-Power, changed all parts...

The click is at all speeds and it's somewhere in the middle. And it's NOT from the power brake, because I detached the Master Cyinder und put it away form the power brakes. So I could press a hammer...

RE: Spongy Brake, less Brake-Power, changed all parts...

Yes, there was enough fluid in the bottle, but I don't know if the pressure was high enough to flush all of the bubbles out of the lines, so I will try the other method to be sure...

RE: Spongy Brake, less Brake-Power, changed all parts...

RE: Spongy Brake, less Brake-Power, changed all parts...

No vibrations.

There is no point where you can feel, that the brakes start braking. I drove a chevy Astro Van, same modellyear (95) with an servooil-powerbrake and you feel the point, when...

The pads and discs are from Raybesto, this is standart quality, or not?

No, when it would stop good than I would live with it. I have to brake...

RE: '95 Blazer shifts late (~2500rpm)

It shifts cold as late as when its warmed up. 1-2 between 2000 and 2500, 2-3 2500 to 2800. When I release the throttle it shifts earlier. I tried to adjust the "gear-cable" but it has no effects.

Sorry about my bad english, I'm from Germany ...

Bye,
Hoelgi
