Cold start in the morning it fired up right up after I let the pump pressurize...

Hmm, I dont have the pressure tester with me, just used it in the parking lot at work so I didnt have to shell out the $150 deposit to rent it.

Do the loaner/rental test kits have those adapters?...

It has not died out on me from idle since new plugs were put in, and is smoother when driving with no throttle input.

Threw a new EGR on it, it is better, smoother at idle for sure and slightly smoother as the rpms go up.. but seems to lack alot of power and has slight miss still. Never drove truck before, but...

One thing I forgot to mention in previous posts was that the fan is coming on right away and staying on, if I remember...

Took compression tester back and went ahead and rented their fuel pressure test kit. Test showed 59-60 psi after turning the key, pressure slowly dropped a little but after 10 min was still above 50...

Brand name on the reciept says "Motormite".. I remember the AutoZone computer showed the Dorman part but it was listed as N/A for whatever reason.

Back from AutoZone, picked up EGR gasket and new regulator. They did not have thefpr in stock and were not able to get a kit that contains the tool to remove the fpr(least it wasnt shown in picture...

Ahh.. its the IAT.. it was very dirty, clean now though.

How long do you wait to see if fuel pressure is dropping? I know pressure will drop over time, the system wont hold pressure overnight...

Have not checked the fuel pressure or filter. Owner tells me he had new fuel pump and filter put on "a couple years ago". Has 114k on it now.
