Sadly no...i just took out the fuse and disconnected the battery for at least 30 minutes,then cycled through turning the key the required 5 times. I just read through the diagnostic procedures again,...

This sounds like something I ran into fixing my98 blazer 4x4 system. I bought and installed a new tcase vacuum switch which i bought from Autozone, and as it turns out, it was not fitting tight...
