I paid $1700 for the job on my 97.. included motor mounts, cooler lines... i fiqure it was cheaper then replacing my driveway due to oil slicks.

I had a simialar problem on my 97.... ended up taking a flashlight and found my lower intake manifold gasket gave out and i had a puddle sitting along the intake up on the corners.. common problem...

I found a local guy parting his blazer due to a collision.. I managed to purchase the fuel pump, tank and the filler pipe all for fifty bucks. All looks mint for being a 97. I know i took a chance...

I connected it the the valve near the distributor . It is on the same location on both vehicles . It has a black cap. I will try it this afternoon once again..

Well i disagree with that. You need new seals. You can get them at a local autostore but that is a must for a proper conversion. THe bracket is also a must since its a different design than the oem...
