My gosh man, you have the exact same symptoms I'm experiencing, minus the high temp issue. I am noticing one thing that wasnt there before, a fairly loud gurgling sound coming from the pass side...

Im having the same problem with my truck between 60 and 70 mainly between 1800 and 2300rpm. I started a thread on it but it doesnt seem to be getting much attention, so I'm watching this thread...

I got the codes read again today for my SES light and yes again only the P0300 code.....Sheesh

Yeah that is ridiculus I agree. I went to autozone but they said their reader was broken. I found out that a friend of mine has a reader so Ill get em read tommorrow unless it clears.
