4.3 L (of course) and a 4 door.

Also forgot to mention that we know it's fuel related. My hubby sprayed some carb. cleaner into the manifold...

RE: new here, 4WD blinking

Sorry, yes I did mean to take it to a shop rather than fixing it yourself but of course I don't know your mechanic capabilities - I just know the 4x4 system isn't easy to work with - ever.
as far...

RE: 96 Blazerd 4.3l vtech-stallin ISSUES HELP HELP

Blazed out I was thinking since you got the code for the TPS initially it could still be ralted somehow. Just because you replaced the part doesn't mean you got a good part (which is rare but does...

RE: 95 S10 dies

have you checked your fuel filter and fuel pump? or even your converter?
Those are the main things I would replace first - Its most likely one of the 3.

RE: new here, 4WD blinking

The blinking light means there is a malfunction in your 4x4 system iteself. I would recommend trying to fix yourself - I'd take it to a shop pronto. Does it blink a certain number of times then stop...

RE: gets warm then shuts off????

Seafoam could be part of the issue. Was it doing this before you used it?
It could have damaged your injectors or fuel system. How did it run immediately after you used the treatment?

RE: 4WD issues

your not supposed to engage your 4 wheel drive while moving, only in park or neutral soit probably messed up your transfer case. Not a cheap fix.

RE: Semi-Rough Shifting

The 2 main things that come to mind for me are the Fuel Filter and Throttle Position Sensor - If I were you I'd change both. Cheap fix if so.
Either that or hook a scan tool or multimeter and...

RE: smoke and fumes????

If the smoke has a blueish tint then I'd say it's most likely a head. Is your CE light on? if so run the codes. You COULD have an injection issue with the gas smell - might want to look at those and...

RE: tranny going bad?

With as many issues as your having I wouldn't see how you could get more than say $1500.00 - the parts broken are all major and very expensive to fix.
If you find a buyer willing I would jump on...

RE: HELP ASAP.. COOLANT TEMP SENSORS

Would a 96 have 2 sensors? My te,p/ gauge hasn't worked since I bought the truck - very annoying and dangerous. I've changed the reg temp gauge and done a radiator flush - same. Several mechanics are...
