idle advance for 86 s-10 blazer?

Hey there! so my problem is i am trying to get my a/c running and each time i turn it on the idle does not kick up to let the a/c compressor run. So i end up stalling and having to turn off the a/c....

Trans. shifting hard on an automatic?

i have a automatic tranny and when it shifts into 1st gear it jerks my entire car for some reason. also when im accelerating my engine will rev really high to the point where my foot is on the floor...
