Sorry it took so long to reply. Was on a cruise to Bahamas. Well one week has passed and truck is still running fine.

It was the fuel regulator that is attached to the spider. Part only cost 40...

Ok Everyone. I want to thank all of you for your help. The truck is now running and sounds good. It turned out it was the regulator.

Ok new update. I did not replace the fuel pump yet. The mechanic was finally able to get codes out of it. One was for the EGR so he took it out and cleaned it and the second was for multiple...

So you dont need to replace the whole unit you can just replace the regulator. That was the difference I saw. Mechanic wants to charge around 500 dollars for this.

Just out of curiousity, How much does a fuel regulator go for. I have checked at the auto parts store and they say a few hundred dollars. Then I go on the computer and can fine one for my year truck...

I needed a new fuel pump anyway. The float wasn't working so no gas reading. I just hope this time it comes off the lift it runs better. I asked about water in the gas. Truck did sit awhile.

The mechanic checked at the fuel pressure is at 48 PSI with key on and engine off. Pressue is 54 PSI with truck running. Does anyone think that it may be the fuel pump ?

Ok, I have cleaned the EGR which was bad, the fuel filter which was filled with dirt, the map sensor, the tps sensor. What else could be makine it run this way. How could it go from running perfect...

That is what I thought. I took it to a mechanic and he tried to tell me that they really dont like to try and clean the EGR valve because it is hard to get to and might break but I have done this...
