anyone ever install a performer intake on 4.3l

Just wondering if any of you have replaced the cpi setup on a 4.3l with the edelbrock performer intake part number 350-2114? i was wondering how it effected your power and fuel economy if you did....

I thought that as the rpms incress that your fuel pressure should drop a bit, if wot the injector is pulsing longer then there should be a drop. simalar to having your finger over the end of a garden...

CPI injector spider

Can anyone tell me how the spider operates on the 4.3l cpi motors? do they have an idle circuit and a power circuit like a carburator or does it just pulse fuel like a tbi unit. My 94 s10 idles fine...

Truck has new 2 1/2 inch exauhst from the y pipe back fuel filter replaced 3 monthes ago. but tps reading erradicly. belive problem might lay there.

With the erratic idle it could be your egr valve has some debri holding it open. also i have seen cracked distrubutor caps cause some of these issues if you have any snow or moisture in or around it.
