I thought so too! Advance Auto's best belt is the Dayco so I went to Autozone to get the Goodyear. That Dayco was so loud!! Ovbiously, I recommend the Goodyear for any Blazer owner.

Good news. I replaced the new Dayco belt with a new Goodyear Gatorback during my lunch break. No noise!

I just replaced the idler pulley and put on a new Dayco belt while I was at it. Now, the belt squeals real bad. It never did with the old belt. I cleaned the pulleys. Didn't help. Is there any...

I noticed last night night that all of the 4wd selectors buttons(Auto 4wd, 2hi, N, 4H and 4lo) are all lit up. So I'm guessing I'm stuck in either 4 hi or 4 lo. I cant' get it to switch out to 2 hi...

My 2000 4x4 has little heat on cold days and the engine temp runs between 160F and 170F. This seems a little cool to me. Could it be that the themostat has failed and is in safe mode stuck partly...
