For an s10 I'd look towards a jeep front axle. Springs mounts and 4-links are already there and they are a hp, most are dana 30's but the rubicons came out with dana 44's. Will have to get wheel...

Napa u-joints are decent. Do you have a lift on it? If so, no u-joint will hold up unless you drop the t-case and rotate the axle, or get a cv shaft. If no lift just make sure you keep them greased.
