I noticed last night that the fan is rubbing against the bottom shroud somewhat. I guess I need to trim the shroud slightly to make it stop. I will consider the fan clutch as well. It is not locked...

I opted to go ahead and replace the whole pump unit. I had already been replacing several other parts on my blazer, so I wanted this to be the last time in a while I had to tear down this hardware....

I've been doing some other repair work on my 1994 s10 Blazer (4.3L 4WD LT Tahoe). Somehow, I managed to get the belt on in the wrong route, which I think loaded the power steering pump bearing too...
