hmm. hadn't really thought of that since my experience has always been with 4wd, not awd. everything is bolted in except the front drive line and the bottom of the bell housing, (inspection cover)....

we haven't had this since it was new, but from the line sheet, it appears that everything, trans and t case is stock. and yes, this is an awd unit, no switch, no lever, no lights.

ok, follow up question on the transfer case possibly in neutral. since this is awd, there is no lever. there is an electronic coupling. how do i know if it is in neutral, and how would i engage it?

ahhh! i never thought about the t case being in neutral , and it does grind a little going into park. i will check it tomorrow and post back. thanks to all trying to help.
