One last question..... so once I drop the pan there are going to be two shift solenoids, A and B, which are exactly the same but one controls 1-2 and the other controls 2-3 correct? I should go ahead...

I don't even know where to begin, I know a large vacuum line goes from the intake manifold to the brake booster. Where else can I look for issues? How can I test or troubleshoot the vacuum system?
