fuel pump question

i admit i too bought a cheap $50 pump, looked good but didnt come with evap sensor which was setting 4044 code in my blazer. old co-worker of mine got me OEM gm and and made me bite the bullet....

i know when i was a Mack Truck tech, Mack sent bulletin on install in ambient air sensor for this milage issue and it DID improve .5 to 1.0 mpg which is huge in semi tractor so i wonder?

battery issue

i may get flack for what im gonna say cuz i know my temp solution is a battery cut out switch which stops ALL current flow when sitting...downside is when you install it and use it, cutting ALL power...

my 00 blazer le is fantastic in every way, ive been an auto mech 30 plus yrs and retired,my forte was suspension work and alignments then later i took raw Mack chassis and assembled complete log...
