I would be checking the filler neck and the vent tube and maybe check to see if the top of the tank is leaking or the seams

what brand of wires and distributor cap have you used? AC Delco are the better parts usually no issues with these parts, anything to do with spark should be AC Delco, also were the engine codes...

you might get away with the ngk wires but cap and rotor should be changed to ac delco might be enough to fix your problem, if price is an issue you could always check someplace like kenny's u pull...

Have you checked the coil? you replaced plugs wires cap and rotor what brand did you use? chev and gm they tend to be very finicky , pricey but A/C Delco is the brand that solves most issues
