RE: Bagging my blazer

At the time the guy that did the work was working for Air Lift so I believe he got everything pretty much at cost.

There are kits you can get that are not much more than $1,000. Depends on what...

RE: Bagging my blazer

Mine was about $3,000 total. Depends a lot on cost of parts. My parts ran about $1,000 and shop charged $2,000 to install.

I would assume they would glow blue as long as the lights you replaced were the ones that also lit the needles.

Nite pics did not turn out so good. I can see the needles just fine. They glow white/clear. Don't stand out as much as the orange factory, but this looks cooler. :D

Just took stock needles and...

Well, I decided to change up the look of my cluster. The centers of the needles were a matching orange to the surround and the needles had the factory orange on them. I cleared the needles and had...

RE: Lowering Kit

I think that kit is for an S-10. Blazer's have sealed front hubs so the spindles shown will not work. 2" drop spindles for a Blazer run about $200-$300.

RE: 3' lowerins springs???

I would recommend 1" lower springs and 2" drop spindles. That will keep your steering geomerty and alignment in check. :D

I would not recommendcutting the coils. Just get 1" shorter coils. Drop coils are pretty cheap.

Good point Hanr3.

The true off-road user of the SUV is a small segment when compared to the rest of SUV sales. Times are changing. Like did you ever think you'd see a $40,000+ sticker on a...

I'm sure they will come out with a replacement for the TB. Probably a unibody "crossover". If you think about how the industry is right now it makes sense. How many people that own SUV's, really take...

RE: Blazer release

I highly doubt the Blazer would be back. The mini-truck/SUV market is pretty much dead. Mid-size is where it's at. The Ford Ranger is currently the only mini-truck left. Everyone else went mid-size....

That black Xtreme is from the Blazer catalog.

A lot of shots can be found on GM's press web site. No password needed to download the photos.

RE: Just lowered the Extreme...

I would not recommend AIM anything. Go with Belltech drop spindles. For Blazer's they run $300. Not the same spindle as an S-10.

That is on my 2008 list of mods. Can't be any worse than the black trim fading and peeling. Mine actually still looks decent because I keep it in my garage.

RE: Pic of my Blazer with 22's

How wide them duce duce's? Your biggest problem will probably be turning with the drop. With my static drop I would rub and that was with 18 x 8's. Now I just air-up to make tight turns. :D

RE: may lower 1-2in

Spindles are the most expensive part of the drop. About $300. Springs and drop blocks are not too expensive. Probably need drop shocks too. Not sure on a 4-door.
