I just changed my fluid and filter after 1,000 miles on a fresh rebuild.
Now my 4l60e has no 3rd or 4th. If i unplug the round tranny plug it has a good strong 3rd. I just took the pan off again...

They make an eraser that u put on a drill. Worked grest for me on a truck i bought that had municpal stickers all over it. I got it professionally buffed when i was done, she shined like new.

Yeah ur kinda right. I know i didn't break the wires. He saids he's rebuilt 100's of 4l60e's. But he has one arm so i can't blame him too much for the wires, i know i couldn't pull it off.

i had the same problem when i changed my fuel...

i had the same problem when i changed my fuel pump. It would also start when i hit it with starting fluid. Turned out i forgot to tighten my negative battery terminal. Works great now, worth a shot.
