haha! youre a good man! It took me a while to get a place with a lift. For the longest time i used to lay on the ground...without the cardboard and whatnot. too bad its like 25mins from my apartment!...

Truck is fixed!!! Fuel Pump and Relay were junk. I replaced the Pump, relay, and filter, and she started right up! But what is weird, is that the tranny is not acting up anymore. Its shifting...

jumper the relay and listen for the pump. Relay is located on the firewall drivers side. Put a jumper from the orange wire to the gray. Orange is constant power to the relay, gray goes to the fuel...

but sometimes throwing parts at a vehicle is a way to fix it.

you need a pretty long hose to get the gas out. I just did it the other night.

my father had the SAME exact problem years ago with his 1st GEN blazer. Took it to the dealer everytime, cost him a ton! They never found what was wrong with it. 7 fuel pumps later he got rid of it....

Universal Joints on the main Drive Shaft possibly. When it happens, let off the gas and then push it again. Does it happen at high speeds too?

Its a 1992. 4.3.It has like a carb/TB fuel injection. The last tune up was about 1 year ago. Oil change 1 month ago. I just pulled the truck out of storage about 1 month ago. But whats weird is all...

its your torsion bar insulator. Put your truck on a lift, or jack, and push up on the brace that supports your passenger side torsion bar. I had the same problem and took me a bit to figure it out....

sometimes it returns to normal on its own, sometimes it wont return to normal until i start driving.

and i always thought the vortec engine was the one with the intake manifold and fuel...

Its not a Vortec...and i cannot tell what the RPM is because there is no tach. someone told me its either a sensor or a vacuum leak around the throttle body.

I notice a lot with the 92 S10 blazers that the front end is higher than the back end. I put air shocks in the back to raise it, but i was wondering if there were different alternatives?

High Idle at Startup

I have a 92 S10 blazer with the 4.3 non vortec engine. When i start it up, the idle is very high. And it shouldnt be that high. And ideas on what it could be??
