No the weather has been bad, so it'll be on my next day off. When i pull the distributor where will the retainer be located at? I don't remember seeing anything on the distributor shaft.

how did you set the timing? i have a 2000 blazer and the distributor must be put in correctly or it will not run.

I replaced my head gaskets & lower intake gaskets, cap & rotor. Everything went back together correctly, engine is timed correctly. Cannot get the motor to start. Plz help

oil dipstick tube

i just replaced my head gaskets on a 2000 4.3L vortec. now my dipstick wont fully seat in the tube. I had to move the tube when i was putting the exhaust manifolds back on so i think it has come out...
