so would it be worth the swap? or should i just look for a newer motor? they wanted 425 for that motor. im finding newer motors for around 525 with around 115,000 on them. if i end up getting that...

I have a guy trying to sell me a vortec motor but it looks old,like from 1993-94.
How can i tell what year exactly its from or if it will work with my setup. Im trying to get away with less change...
