1998 transmission hard shifting?

i have a 1998 2wd blazer when i drive for more that 2 hours the transmission shifts really hard for the first shift when it is around 25mph, but then if i park the truck for like 20min then start it...

well my friend was gonna use it for a trade in on...

well my friend was gonna use it for a trade in on another car and the dealership only offerd him $400 towards a new car, he thought it was crazy cause all they would end up doing is turning around...

1998 blazer

i just picked up a 1998 blazer from a friend of mine for $400 the body and paint is in great condition and runs great it's a 4 door 2wd i've had it for about a month and i love it :D
