1980 k5 Grill Install Help

I need to install the factory grill on a 1980 k5 blazer but I cant seem to figure out how to get the screws in. when you slip the grill in, the screws are on the very top and very bottom of the grill...

For now that's the plan, not sure why they are those goofy tapered end body bolts though... Hopefully that doesn't matter. I did find them at Napa but they only had the same length as I already have.
