Engine makes grinding noise

Hey,

I have noticed this over the past few days. When I start my truck, there is a grinding noise, similar to rusted metal rubbing together, or at least thats the best I can describe it.

When you go to do yours, you might find that it is just a loose scew - i found nothing keeping mine from fitting together.

What I did was take both panels off, and that is completely unecessary...

Discovered that the park brake was slightly...

Discovered that the park brake was slightly engaged. I am guessing that i used the pedal for leverage squirming around underneath fixing the panels.

Plus side to that, the brake light is back...

What a bear of a project that was. I finally got it so it is all flush. although I now notice that the rubber cover for the shifter is wore out and torn... possibly something to replace :)

Battery Died FAST!

Not sure why, but my battery died fast.

I was taking my hazard light switch out to replace it with a new one, so I disconnected the battery to avoid continuous horn honking at my apartments.
