Clogged fuel filter?

A buddy of mine has a 4.3L Blazer that will not start...battery, wires and plugs are new....when trying to start, the motor turns over and almost fires but acts fuel starved....His Blazer has 210,000...

Thanks Kyle for your help and suggestions through this....maybe cleaning the sensor has taken care of the problem? I guess the next step would have to be an ignition switch and have the ABS module...

OK...Here is the reply I got from ModuleMaster asking if the erratic speedo could be caused by the module....

The erratic speedometer could either be a bad module or a bad rear wheel speed sensor...

There is a guy on eBay that sells the pump AND motor for under $200....that should take care of the PO410 code....and if my problem is the ABS module, I plan on having ModuleMaster rebuild it for...

Well I am pretty sure that the severed ABS cable caused the light to come on.....I don't think you can clear the ABS light with an ODB...maybe but not with the one I have....thanks...I'll try...
