oil lines

I have a 2005 4wd 2dr Jimmy....I noticed while doing an oil change that the 2 oil lines that connect right where the oil filter screws on are cracked on the rubber portion.

What are these lines...

140,000 miles and I'm sure it's never been changed....So I'm gonna change my rear end fluid today. Which oil should I use ?

Update

This morning I had the truck towed across town to the dealership....

They called me about an hour later and told me it was a seized up tension pulley.

They replaced it for free and truck seems...

Update

Got my Blazer back this morning along with a 12 month - 12,000 mile warranty.....

Drove it home from the dealership. (less than 2 miles) The truck ran great.

Ya, thats what I'm going to try first, hopefully that takes care of it. All I got to do is remove the 2 screws that hold the cap on and remove the rotor, right ? Anything I should be aware of...
