there is a fuse for it, however i dont remember what its called off hand. its the same fuse that powers the dome lights....if you are looking at the fuse box its the 2nd one from the left on the top...

conduit as in emt....electrial metal tubing....same stuff thats in your walls...1/2 is too flimsy...3/4 works great. get your weld settings right and its not hard to weld either....just a ton of spot...

the smartest thing you can do if you plan on adding more elctrical stuff in the future is to wire in another fuse box...thing just like you home..run a new positive and a negative from the battery...
