A rusty cable caused my 4x4 not to work properly , and intermitantly try penetrating oil on it

Try penetrating oil on the cable at the axle to the actuator mine rusted ffrom not being used and was only going in partially

Thanks for the help guys , turned out the cable...

Thanks for the help guys , turned out the cable for the 4 wd was not operating because it was rusted , sprayed some penetrating oil on it and works fine now

I know you said the plug wires were good but I had a car I took to a mechanic and he was supposed to do a tuneup , he cut corners and did not replace the plug wires it did just what you are saying...

97 Blazer 4WD fulltime has extremely loud grinding noise

Front passenger side or center right noise, Noise started in summer , replaced brakes and wheel bearing
{complete hub}
For a while I could make it go away by backing up a few feet then going...
