2000 LT Four Wheel Drive

In an effort to get my pre-winter checks done I went to switch into four wheel drive today and the light blinked, I put it in gear and it will not shift. It won't change to four hi or low...any help...

Did that, all lamps not only are good but have been replaced. Like I said it works fine if you push on the directional arm inside the truck.

Vacuum is good I have suction, actuator does move when a selection is made.
