OK, so on Dec 28th I replaced the alternator because anytime it would rev above 2500 the volts would drop down to 9. This fixed the issue, however, last night it dropped down to 9 and stayed there...

Hey,

As the title states I have a 1996 Blazer 4x4 that when i go about 20/25 mph there is a sound from the front end that sounds like I am dragging chains/metal rubbing metal. I was thinking...

Thanks guys... that helped my searching alot didnt find much before... It does sound like the vaccum switch. I will have to give that a try.

Hi everyone,

Just bought a 96 blazer with 88K on in last weekend. Drove fine for about 1.5 hours on the way home then as I started to slow down it started whirring from the front passenger wheel...
