Thanks for the help man, i appreciate it ! As far as pulling too much juice, that's what caps are good for. They keep a decent power supply too keep from frying your alt. thanks again man.

I have just installed my radio, rca's, remote wire, and ground. My question is how do you get a 4ga power wire to the back of this truck? It is a 97 2 door, and i cant find anywhere on the firewall...

It should, i just bought my 97 blazer and my pioneer 8600, and mine fit ok. It was a little snug, and you have to tuck some wires down in there, but it fit.
