Going on a Long trip.

Hello,

Im planning on taking my blazer ( 2002 4 door 4x4) on a trip up to the snow, probably a 1,000 mile trip. My question is, what should I check prior to departing? I will be changing the oil...

I had the same problem on my first gen. Put some infinity speakers in the dash and theywouldnt fit basicallt. So i just kinda left them sitting up above the dash. Looks find in my opinion.

I too am interestered in this. My 2002 Blazer doesn't have any remote with it but i think it bay have keyless entry. I know where the module is but whats the number i should be looking for? Thanks

Check for air pockets in your cooling system. Sometimes these can give inaccurate readings to the temp sensor.

But yea the heads are off and i found the problem. So its coming back together slowly.

The early- mid 90's Full sizes all had the 5.7 " 350" engine. Heres their gauge cluster

if i recall correctly redline is 5000-5500 RPM.

The only reason i havent replaced the Grill ambers is that i dont want to pay 20 bucks for them...lol

I have the $15 and they are great. I love them. Little expencive but they dont leak and really look good. I took a few pictures of my install. Hope you find them usefull.

I Cleaned th EGR in my 88 Blazer and it made a good difference. I used a parts washer and a good toothbrush to clean out the carbon. Might as well try it.
