I have the Chiltons manual and i didnt even think to look haha. somtimes u just have to do a little reading to find the answer.

Well i went under the beast today and one of the coters pins came off the linkageso i replace it and it working fine. But it is sloppy so next time i go to the bone yard Im gonna get a better or anew...

sound similar to a problems i was having. Check in the fender well of Ur drive side rear tire. with a flash light and u should see the sending unit lines there could be acracking the line or a clamp...
