Just replaced my regulator, so I'll add in on this thread.

On my blazer (96 ls) not too sure if it's the same, but there's a little plastic piece in the door handle I had to remove with two screws...

The same thing was happening with my blazer, however I didn't do anything about it, and eventually the window regulator decided one day it was just going to completely seperate itself from my window....

The vacuum line was actually rubbing against the manifold, and had scorched a hole thru the tubing, not to mention all the vacuum lines are...

Apparent Oil Leak

Was going to change my oil the other day and noticed that there was alot of caked oil on the cooler lines coming down to the remote filter, but for the life of me (other than the lines themselves)...
