Is the sound on one side? Also, does it disappear when you engage 4HI from 2HI and then return in 2HI? I haven't listened to the sound yet, but I have a feeling something will be lost in translation....

I just edited my previous post regarding teh HVAC fuse, I am referring to the one in the IP block, not the underhood block.

In terms of the blower motor and HVAC controls, everything was working...

Thanks for the suggestion. This is the switch behind the lighted buttons on the dash?? How do you pop it out, with a screwdriver? Also, if this was the case, wouldn't it have blown the fuse this...

Further update:

I talked with a mechanic friend of my family. He mentioned that some of these Blazers had issues with a faulty ground on the firewall. Said that may explain some of the weird...

Thanks for the info and suggestion. I took a look at the actuator tonight, but this has completely gone weird. Sorry for the double post, I didn't realize I put it in the thread...

Thanks for the suggestion. I can give this a try. What does the vacuum actuator do?? It sounds like you want me to just disconnect it, make sure the tube is free, and then reconnect, right??
