What ended up happening was that my battery tie down cable broke and my battery moved around alot. Thus causing my ground cable to not be connected 100% making it flake...

just an update: each time i would torque the bolts, i would use the torque meter wrench and would make sure they are up to about 43. I also found out that the bolts are long enough cause come of them...
