RE: transmission problems

Nations,

It seems odd to me that you only did front end work and a radiator and now you have transmission issues. If it were me, I'd look real close at the radiator installation. I'm...

RE: heat loss

Ahhhhh..... I guess you stand corrected. LOL. Yes, you still have a heater core. Its basically a mini-radiator that transfers heat from your cooling system into your 'cabin' by having air blow...

Spare Tire Carrier

Hi,

Unfortunately, the cable on the spare tire carrier for my 96' 4dr decided to return to it's basic elements (ie rusted/broke apart). Anyway, all I'm left with is my tire. What would be a...

RE: Where to buy???

2klt,

So, I get it now (2klt - duh). Anyway, let us know how it turns out for you. I'm kind of curious about you 'water' out the exhaust. I had the intake gaskets go on my '96 but I never saw...

RE: Replacing water pump info

Hey,

Don't know what year your dealing with but I replaced my water pump on my '96. It's really pretty simple (especially after you've done it). Anyhow, if my memory serves me correctly, you...

RE: Radiator Pressure Test

Hi,

I wouldn't recommend going over say 16-18 lbs on a used radiator. Depending on who made it, their test specifications (when new) where likely not much higher than that. Just my $0.02.

RE: overheating

sectshun8,

I had a similar (exact?) situation, I chased the problem for over a year. It seemed to get worse in the winter, so I was thinking it was a thermal expansion problem with the plastic...

RE: overheating

Hey,

1st off - Don't continue to drive it. If you're lucky it may only be intake gaskets but if it progresses, you could take out the head gaskets or crack the head. Have you checked your...
