I had .9 amp only when I first hooked up the meter. It dropped to .06 amps after about 15 sec. I guess I stated it wrong when I said 6 ma that would be .006 amp.

My 2001 Blazer had a similar problem a few years back. I replaced the vent solenoid and never had any more problems since. It is located in front of the spare tire.
