RE: Need help quick.....Brake fluid leak

Ended up taking mine to the shop. $150 for a completely new brake line, not too bad in my opinion.

RE: Need help quick.....Brake fluid leak

I hear you and understand. I will make every attempt to do this but I have no experience with this and it seems to be quite a job to replace the entire line. I will try to get it on a lift and see if...

RE: Need help quick.....Brake fluid leak

I found where the brake lines run up on top of the body rail. Now I see what was meant by "needing a mirror" to see the spot where the line broke. I can not feel it but the good news is that I am 90%...

Do you know where the brake line runs? If it is in that frame rail I got hell trying to figure out where it is broken/where to repair. Thanks

Need help quick.....Brake fluid leak

I have a 97 LT 4X4. I was checking the brake fluid in the master cyl today and it was definitely low. I added some to just above the fill MIN line and then pumped the brake a few times to get the...

What brakes to go to when running 20s?

I am going to 20s with 255/45-20 tires and they are much heavier than the stock LT setup. http://jdmmotorworks.com/rims/Player/M504Black3.jpg
I will need some extra braking power. Are there any...

RE: rancho rsx shocks

I ended up going with rough country nitro 7000 shocks from JC Whitney. These things are VERY thick and look like a substantial piece of equipment. I went with them over the Rancho and Edelbrock...

RE: rancho rsx shocks

Where did you buy them? How much? Does Autozone have any decent (firm/stable) shocks for these. My 97 LT is soft as hell, but then again 190k miles has a tendency to wear shocks out.:) Also what do...
