Wow, I feel pretty good. I had the fuel pump replaced in my son-in laws96 Blazertoday. $300.00 parts & labor

He got the pump off e-bay and I had a friend put it in for $150.00

Okay guy's,

Pulled the valve cover, and plugs. Backed the number 1 cylinder rocker arm nuts off 3/4 turn. With a pressure gauge I get 140 # pressure, so this tells me the valves are not closing....

I spoke with a machine shop this morning about this problem. He told me they have to check the valve height and if the valves are to high they grind them down. If they are to low the replace...

From what I read, there is not adjustment on these rocket arm nuts. They just tighten all the way down to the offset on the stud, and torque to 22lbs. I will pull everything back apart and check the...

Thanks for the IDs, I am also thinking about a impack wrech, just don't want to break the studs off, but I guess they could be replaced once I get them off.

LOL,,, we tried to, but the bolts are so rusted could not get them off. I did spray them with WD40. Can try again tomorrow night. Thanks

I see you pulled the heads, how did you get the heads off the block? I am needing to put a new set of heads on my grandson 96 blazer. Cant seem to get to the bolts under the exhaust manifolds.
