sometimes cleaning the EGR will not solve the problem if it is sticking open due to age and wear and tear, the last time this happened to me I had to replace the EGR. just food for thought.

Hi again, can someone tell me why the tach is showing more rpms than it really is. At idle it is showing 1700 and at 55mph it is showing 4200rpm. I figure is is about 1000 hi. The trans is perfect....
