my 97 jimmy's starter has been throwing fits lately and i have a good starter off my 92 FS that has the 4.3 TBI motor,

i know it wasnt but i forgot my tools (didnt expect so much mud) so i just let it run while i was going through everything and by the time i got back in to take it home it was fine

picked these dick cepek 31x12.50s on ZR2 rims for 100 bucks earlier and had to go wheeling. got out to some little trails that had more mud than i expected. tires were amazing until the motor sucked...

adjusting setscrew on steering box...

my steering isa little loose and i know theres a setscrew on the steering box (which im assuming is what is wrong because i just threw new tie rods and such under it)

ok he says the rpms jump when hes just cruising, the PCM isnt throwing a code or anything either
he says other than the random jumps it runs fine

my cousin has a 98 sonoma and just called telling me his rpms are jumping suddenly then coming back down to normal. i really dont know what could cause this?

i agree. i got some horrible 235/75 coopers and i was blasting through about 8 inches of snow in a field and bombing some pretty big banks....however after a 2wd game of tug of war with my buddys...
